This policy explains what personal information I collect when you use this website or enquire about coaching, why I collect it, and what your rights are.

I'm Dan King, trading as King's Coaching. I'm a sole trader and the data controller for any personal information you give me.

What I collect and why

Health information. Details about injuries, medical conditions or medication count as special category data under UK GDPR. I only collect what I need to train you safely, I never share it with anyone without asking you first, and you can withdraw your consent at any time.
Who else handles your data
I use a small number of trusted services to run this business. Each acts as a processor on my behalf and has its own privacy policy:
- Tally — runs the enquiry form on this site.
- Cal.com — handles session bookings.
- Kit — sends email newsletters, if you've opted in.
- Google Maps — shows the studio location. Google may set cookies when the map loads.
- My website host, which stores standard server logs.
I don't sell your data, and I don't share it for advertising.
How long I keep it
- Enquiries that don't become clients: up to 12 months, then deleted.
- Client records: for as long as you train with me, then up to 6 years afterwards where I need to for insurance and tax purposes.
- Newsletter subscribers: until you unsubscribe.
Cookies
This site doesn't use analytics or advertising cookies. The embedded enquiry form, booking links and map are provided by third parties who may set their own cookies when those elements load. You can block cookies in your browser settings, though the form or map may not work properly if you do.
Your rights
Under UK data protection law you can ask me to:
- give you a copy of the information I hold about you
- correct anything that's wrong
- delete your information
- restrict or object to how I use it
- transfer it to another provider
- stop using it where you'd previously given consent

Complaints
If you're unhappy with how I've handled your information, please tell me first so I can put it right. You also have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk or on 0303 123 1113.
Changes to this policy
If I change how I handle personal data, I'll update this page and change the date at the top.
